Amy Dahlstrom is Associate Professor and Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Chicago. Her research is on indigenous languages of the Americas, especially the Algonquian languages Meskwaki (Fox) and Cree, examining issues of morphology, syntax, and discourse-pragmatic relations. The theoretical framework she uses in her syntactic and morphosyntactic work is Lexical Functional Grammar.
