Andrew Koontz-Garboden is Senior Lecturer in Linguistics in the Department of Linguistics and English Language at The University of Manchester, where he has been since completing his PhD (2007, Stanford University).  His theoretical interests are in the morphosyntax/semantics interface and the implications of crosslinguistic variation for its nature. He is also a field linguist with interests in language documentation and description, and has done extensive work on the Misumalpan language Ulwa.
